Research has long shown that an involved father can shape a child’s confidence, emotional development, behavior and sense of self. For Black families, that presence carries even more weight, because fatherhood is often lived through protection, guidance, sacrifice and love that does not always get celebrated out loud.
Reclaiming Father’s Day Weekend was created to honor that presence.
We see how hard you work. We see how you advocate, lead, protect, provide and pour into your children, families and communities. Watching you continue to show up, even when the world does not always pause to applaud. You’ve also never looked for that.
This Juneteenth weekend, join us for a celebration rooted in fatherhood, freedom and advancement. Multiple gatherings for Black fathers, father figures, mentors and men who understand that being present is powerful.
This weekend is about who you are now, and who you are still becoming.
Come be celebrated with intention and stand in brotherhood with other men who know the weight, beauty and responsibility of fatherhood.
And ladies, this celebration includes you, too. Pass this along to the fathers, father figures, mentors and men in your life, then join us Saturday as we honor Black fatherhood, family and community together.
